Matrix and Rhetorik Solutions is proud to be an active supporter of World Vision. We began our involvement with the charity in July 2010, when we pledged to sponsor a child each time a client licensed our Financial-Clarity or Mortgage-Clarity products. Some two years on, our involvement with World Vision has blossomed into something deeper and more meaningful. In addition to now sponsoring over 40 children through the extraordinary community projects they manage across the globe, Matrix now engages in a variety of staff initiatives to maintain those sponsorships. You can read below about one member of our staff tackled the John o’Groates to Lands end cycle ride in May 2011, or indeed our more recent Three Peaks Challenge event in July 2012. We also engage in Christmas sponsorships and have invited World Vision representatives into our offices to give staff talks about the work that we’re supporting. It’s an extremely rewarding charitable initiative, and we’ve even got our sights on Jebel Toubkal in June 2013...Watch this space.

When we first decided to set up a corporate charity, we wanted to support an organisation whose philanthropic vision was aligned in some way with our own commercial objectives: Whilst our corporate mission is to help financial services companies achieve growth by using the intelligence and knowledge we place at their fingertips, World Vision's mantra is to create opportunities for improving knowledge and intelligence at the level of the individual child, in deprived areas which lack proper infrastructure. The similarity of our processes, in spite of the different motivations behind them, has encouraged us all to pledge our support to this excellent cause.
